I think female empowerment was definitely one of the main themes. Arguably their friendship and loyalty to each other was another major theme. It was very refreshing.

I also agree that friendship is the most dominant theme but since it is not among the options, I would go for girl power. But I think girl power would not has existed without friendship. If the women would not have been friends, not much would be achieved.
Supporting each other as women brought the best out of them.

I agree. I think friendship, not necessarily girl power, was the dominant theme. It wasn't one of these books where women were asserting themselves. The story could have just as easily been a bunch of male friends who bond and get together to share a hobby.
I agree completely with your comment. They were not seeking power or proving they had power. They already were strong. The story was about their sisterhood.
I also agree that friendship should have been an option over here.

I think the strongest theme of the book was the relationship of the women. Their love and care for each other transcends fly fishing, hobbies, jobs, or marital status. Yes, they have a bond because of the fishing but their relationships are what keep them coming back and staying friends.

The strongest theme in this book is most definitely friendship. Honestly, I had a hard time seeing any of the options listed in your poll as themes in this book.

Female friendship and empowerment were definitely some of the strongest themes in this book in my opinion.

In my point of view the relationship between women is the strongest theme in the book! The way the five ladies with relatable backstories connect with each other is admirable and adorable for readers! I come to accept death and pain in life after reading about the demise of Amanda and Rose's daughter Clara in the story! This is the needed reading content for an all round development of my personality!

I'm not sure I would choose any of these. Friendship was definitely the strongest theme in the book. I think this is entirely different than girl power. Rose in the last chapter of the book says some great quotes about friendship that I absolutely love.

Friendship, in my opinion, is the most dominant theme. I am surprised it's not among the options.

I would say, all of the above, but above all friendship would definitely be the strongest theme for me.
