I related a lot to Sophie's childhood as a former tomboy and also only having a brother when I was younger. While I'm only 18, I could very easily see myself being still single at her age too as I have been really scared about dating and have straight up missed several possible opportunities because I was too scared to make a move. I've also been avoiding meeting people through apps and such. I am still really young right so it doesn't really matter now but if my attitude doesn't eventually change I think I will be in the same situation she is.
