On one hand, I would be able to plan things out so they were in order, not leaving a mess of chores behind for my loved ones. I would also have the chance to live like I was dying. People generally go with the flow and expectations of society, earning money, making responsible choices, etc. If I knew when my time was coming, I would have the motivation to take off and do something fun and crazy.
On the other hand, I would live my life with an expiration date, which does not sound appealing.
It's conundrum!

I prefer to live a life of happiness in the midst of trials and difficulties and leave God to choose when I will pass on just as He did when I was born.

I learned something about a coworker yesterday that made me think more deeply about this. He didn't know he was diabetic and didn't feel well. He looked up his symptoms online and thought maybe he had diabetes. He went to a health clinic and his sugar level was 900. That is unheard of but if the VT2 were a real device, it would have warned him way before he reached such a critical number. It was only life threatening untreated. Now that he knows what type of lifestyle he must have to maintain that and the medications he needs to be on, that won't happen. But the diagnosis almost came too late. Very scary.
