The gun could be and could not be. The benefit and disadvantage of owning or having a gun in the home are inevitable, especially in the hands of an incorrect user.

Guns becomes the answer after a protective rule and yet your life is still threatened you may be left with no choice but to defend yourself, depending on the situation .

I personally wouldn't like to live in a society where I have to shoot people to be safe...that sounds like an insane society to me. Other options like improving socio-cultural conformity, and an improved security system are there.
