I totally agree with you, it put me off. But from the review, I just might read it if given the opportunity.

The cover page says a lot about the book. it need to be attractive. Actually a good cover page may give an insight into the books contents.

I agree that the book cover is a bit alarming, but given the nature of the main characters it is quite relevant. Sometimes you really cannot judge a book by its cover.

Yeah, the cover did seem a but out of sorts. I have always wondered how people can swallow swords without hurting themselves, and the thought of the act makes me cringe. Because you know there is a possibility that they might fatally hurt themselves in the process. However, I try (though, mostly unsuccessfully) to not judge a book by its cover. So, I gave it a go!

I agree, the cover page wasn't the best. Some people read a book just from what they see in the cover page.

I think the cover is eye catching, not frightening. Including the sword swallowing on the cover attracts people who are interested in learning about people with different backgrounds and unique talents.

If you love horror, the cover page would most likely appeal to you.I don't; but after reading the story, I understood why.

Yeah, I felt the same way with the cover in a way. The saying: "Don't judge the book by its cover" made a whole lot of sense in this book because I found the content not to be synced that much with the cover. What you see isn't much what you get.

Honestly speaking the coverpage is very horrible because after seeing cover page like that you might think that the novel must be scary so may be they’ll not going to read it ! What i think cover page must be so interesting !

I found the cover page to be contradictory to the story its self. the cover page seemed to portray a scary story but that wasn't the case for the actual story. I this made it even more interesting.

I didn’t even realize that the guy on the cover was a sword swallower at first. At first glance I just saw this big tattooed bloke on the front and thought it was just a random picture on the cover that had no relation to the story, and that turned me off from reading it.

The picture at the front of the book is suitable for the title of the book. Though some of us don't like it but I think it is there for the sake of the story. I think it's a befitting picture for this particular story.

I don't find it scary but it doesn't appeal to me as a reader, either. The yoga sign in the background helps a bit. I'm not usually a fan of a picture as a cover. I prefer artwork.
