It would not be fair to compare a romantic story like this to compare with a story like Da Vinci Code. Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code deals with history, art, code breaking and many more. But The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci is a much simpler story with romance at its core.

I try to keep them separate in my mind despite the similar titles. They have some similar ideas and such, but the Dan Brown novel was a lot harder to follow, in my opinion anyway!

Well it reminds me of Da Vinci code - only because both titles have the name Da Vinci on them. But of course the content and the genres are very different.

Besides having Da Vinci in the title the books are not very similar. "The Da Vinci Code" has a much more complex plot and riddles to solve than this book. I feel like this book is James Patterson "light" with some romance thrown in. Fun to read, easy to forget.

Not at all. Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code is book about art, history, codes and many more. But Belle Ami's book deals with romance, past lives, etc.

I just started reading this book. It reminds me more of The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson than The Davinci Code by Dan Brown.

The chase for the missing art work does reminds of Dan Brown's books but both the books are different in their own way. Dan brown seldom has romance. It's more of a treasure hunt in 24 hours and feature the recurring themes of cryptography, keys, symbols, codes, art, and conspiracy theories. While "The girl who knew Da Vinci code" is more simple, adventurous and romantic.

A historic theme will surely have some things in common. But I love the book anyway!

Book tend to be similar whenever they ad read similar theme and to some extent time periods. DA Vinci books are always centered on artistry. I would not be surprised by the similarities.

I think the title was supposed to incite feelings of similarity between the two books but in my opinion The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci is too much of a romance book for the comparision to hold much water.

There's similarities in that in both books there's a stolen piece of art. The search of the book is thrilling.
