Any book when properly acted can make a good film. My only fear is that certain event maybe overlooked in film production.

I think that this book can easily be adapted to a movie. Though how justified that would be is something that we need to wait and watch.

Adoption of the book into a movie is an excellent idea. I would support that. That would pass the contents to a larger audience.

It was written like the author planned to make Hollywood adapt it to a movie. Characters talk like they live in a movie and not a book.

I'm unsure about that. But I think incorporating the book into a movie is not bad idea.

Yes, there are lots of drama and cinematic scenes in the book. The film would be action packed.

In this day and age, anything and everything gets a movie treatment. I wouldn't be surprised if the author of this book already received offers from the film studios.

I would say yes, although there had been a movie on Da Vinci's code the name would just make it a hit, like the avengers for example.

This book is really good.
In my opinion they should definitely make a movie on this book.

I feel like in some ways that this book, The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci, could actually be in two parts in a movie adaptation. Although, it would be cool to see the book in movie form, especially one movie. I think the movie would do really well considering the Da Vinci code did well. I honestly think that it would be really neat to see their past selfs on screen as well as Leonardo da Vinci himself.

At first, my reaction to this question is, "Eww. No." But after considering it for a moment, this story would probably be more exciting as a movie, if done properly and "honed" in to be more focused and exciting.

I absolutely agree with you. This would have to be a big budget film. I think a newcomer would be the best option.

I think in production maybe the title would have to change so that it doesn't get associated with the Da Vinci Code.
It's a really tragic trilogy of films, and its not like the books were great to begin with, and you wouldn't want to be tarnished with the same brush.
Yeah, they're nothing to do with each other but, the general public, i reckon, would just naturally assume it's going to be basically the same thing but with a girl.
The title would definitely have to change. And, people absolutely will think it's related to Davinci Code. If they change the title & stick mostly to the book, they might actually have a blockbuster on their hands.

I think with the right director, cast and production staff it will turn out to be EPIC!
