The role of the historical characters.

Post by SoledadCanaria »

What role do the historical characters, such as Sophia Caro and Gerhard Jaeger, play in the overall story of The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci? How do their stories intersect with the main plot, and how do they contribute to the development of the primary characters?

I think Gerhard played the most important role, because he was the one who took the painting, Sophia played another role because it was in her home the painting was hidden. If they had not been in love.. all these things that happened wouldn't have happened the way it did.

Historical character role is what made the plot classify as historic fiction. Them stealing and keeping the painting was a collaborative love effect.
