Angela could feel whatever happened in her dreams, sometimes she was a third part, but other times the was not just watching but experiencing too. This made her feel one with are incarnate. So, she could think like she was the woman in her dreams. More than just finding the painting, she knew the significance because she had met those people in her dreams.

Angela dreams has key clues in revealing the mystery. It also helped that she kept a dream Journal.
