I agree that the present day story should have had more substance and intrigue. Though, undoubtedly the flashbacks in time periods made the book interesting, trying to connect so many characters.Miriam Molina wrote: ↑04 Jun 2018, 19:31 I had no problem going back and forth through time. I agree with you. I think this underlines the brilliance of the writer, being able to tell a story from three different era's and still make sense, is no easy feat.
