Is this book good to be adopted in to a film?

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown was adopted in to a movie and it was a success. Here we have another book which focus on another painting of Da Vinci. Will this book be a good idea to make a movie on that? I say yes. What do you say?

Honestly, I'd say yes to this too. The switch between three distinct time periods will do the trick and make for a spectacular movie if handled properly. Unfortunately, after reading Dan Brown's book, I found the movie a fiasco, but in this case, I think the movie may be even more successful than the book. Imagine passing from a magnificent de Medici Palace or Leonardo's studio to the Uffizi gallery and the bombing of Florence in WWII and then straight to Getty Museum in Los Angeles.

I agree. There are a lot of cinematic scenes, but the budget required would be huge. I wonder who would land the coveted role of Angela.

I think I would prefer this to the Da Vinci Code. It has more surprise and mystical elements. I think it would make a good movie.

From just the plot of the book, I'd say it would be okay as a film adaptation.
I think in production maybe the title would have to change so that it doesn't get associated with the Da Vinci Code.
It's a really tragic trilogy of films, and its not like the books were great to begin with, and you wouldn't want to be tarnished with the same brush.
Yeah, they're nothing to do with each other but, the general public, i reckon, would just naturally assume it's going to be basically the same thing but with a girl.

I would also say 'YES'. The book would create an intriging movie. The subjects on Da Vinci have always done well and this will not be an exception.

I think this book is good to be adopted in to a film, because the storyline is intriguing and filled with romance, mystery, and surprise, which is what a lot of viewers love. It seems more of an iconic type of film, if it were to be created into a film, unlike some more family-type of movies. I think that it would have a similar reputation to the Titanic, Godfather, etc.

I think that there is so much mystery around DaVinci that it would make a great movie! Foreign language movie I think?

I think it would have the public support and interest since it's a sort of mystery, and in a romantic way. And well, the click-bait is Da Vinci's name. Honestly, it would need a huge production team with good casting to deliver this as a film. There's too many scenes that needs absolute detailing. If they can pull it off, then I could see this turn into a movie.

This could definitely be made into a visually spectacular movie. I love movies that successfully capture the visual grandeur of history.

I think it has all the elements to be a good motion picture, but it would have to be done really well to keep it from coming across as generic or juvenile. The cool thing is, when books are adapted to films, the director and production staff can tweak the parts they want

Sincerely, I think writing the book was a great idea but reducing it into a movie would just be marvellous. That would be killing two birds with one stone as the two pieces of art will have the same subject but performing two different functions. That would increase the author's audience.
