I don't think that addition of Dad is required to this story. Tony is enjoying and doing all those stuff for which Dad is not required. In fact in absence of Dad's character, Tony will be more responsible.

This is hilarious, I actually thought about this but I feel also that a Toni also helping dad out will also be good and maybe add a sister for him.
