I loved Toni's personality. He helps his mother with the house chores. He is more sensitive and reasonable than many students of his age. I recommend this book to young parents and children of tender years.

I haven't read this book yet. But, it seems to be helpful for children to learn. I'll give a try.

I didn't go into it expecting grand character development or plot. I wasn't even expecting much substance.

This was nothing. I've read books for this age-set before, and those had small plots and characters. Sesame Street has a whole library of books aimed at this market, and they all have fun illustrations and a basic story structure. And yet Toni is getting 4 star reviews across the board? What?

I wouldn't show this book to my kids, regardless of how young they were. They deserve better. Why are people going nuts over this thing? I just don't understand. The illustrations are sloppy, there are no morals, there is just nothing there. What is the appeal?
I agree. Books for kids should still have good characters and a basic plot!

I like the idea as I find it both intriguing and peculiar, but I think, considering that this is a children's book, the art plays a big role in piquing children's interest, so it would've been better had the art matched the story's greatness.

I am currently expecting my own child. I have used this site recently to scour for some good children's books. I absolutely love this one as it will help teach my kid that doing simple things, chores, can make anyone feel like a superhero. Personally, being the parent in that situation, having a child help out around the house when the world seems tough would defiantly make me consider my child heroic.

I quite liked the illustrations and positive energy of the book, but found the text to be too simplistic even for a very young reader. There are many different ways to add some interest to books for young children, and I had hoped for something a little more interesting. I rated it 3 out of 4 stars.

I feel that the overrated rating of the book is okay. From my own perspective we have to make kids understand that being useful is important and if there is a book which attracts them. As we know everyone loves superheroes. So we attract the kids with super hero’s and show them that doing domestic chores can also make you a super hero.
