The cover seemed bright and ofcourse, with a drawing of Toni as a superhero- a recipe to attract kids. However, I do believe that a better colour palette would have made it look more attractive.

I love that the illustrations are aimed at getting children to be confident while reading. The illustrations will help put pictures to the words and I believe it will help any child understand the words more, the book more, and the meaning behind the whole story more.

As a person who appreciates art, I think the drawings and illustrations are wonderfully done. Children will undoubtedly be drawn to these images.

I thought the illustrations were great for the intended age group. This book is for teaching young children to read. The pictures were bright, colorful, and simple. They easily showed what Toni was doing in each scene. Too much detail or action may have distracted the child from looking at the words and trying to read.

I'm not sure about the illustrations giving the children confidence, but I definitely think the bright, bold colours make the book more attractive to read and will help them to focus on the pages and what is being shown.

The cover art looks bright and attractive. The style brings back a nostalgia for me; it reminds me of The Magic Schoolbus days!

I think the cover is very appealing to young readers with its bright colors and art style. The book definitely looks like it's oriented to young children just from appearance, which can help draw them to this book as well.

I really like the illustrations in the book. They make everything about the book real. Thus, kids can easily associate with the activities of the Superhero. The choice of colours is also great. They make the book more captivating.

I love the color and illustrations. The colors were bright, and the pictures were fun and stimulating. I also appreciated that it was diverse as far as race. I do think it is great for children and will capture their attention and help with confidence.

In my review of the book, I made mention of the fact that the illustrations on the cover are what Toni encounters in the story. I love it because it reinforces the pictures and the words associated with them. Before opening the book after reading a few times through, a parent could point this out and spend a little time on the cover. The colors and pictures in the book are wonderful.

I thought that the illustrations were very vivid and simple. Their simplicity drew me in right away as it was quite obvious what was being depicted.

The pictures were not over detailed, they were specific and on point. Children of the intended age are said to see themselves in other things so I think the book will achieve the goal of inspiring confidence. Passing across what is intended depends more on the parent who would read to the child.

I would suggest though that the author inputs a guide for parents to read their wards so the purpose would be achieved..
