Toni's powers were originated by his thinking to be a hero and were improved by his will to grow more like a super hero.

I honestly think the book title is exaggerated and that Toni had no real powers.

mmh I agree.

I wondered whether Toni had any powers. He only does things as is expected of any growing child.

But the book focuses what he does when he's not out saving the world.

I agree. If the origin of the superpowers were clear, then the book must be more understandable.

Although I thought the book was a bit simple, we do have to keep in mind that it is for toddlers. So knowing the origin of his superpowers would just be too much detail and flashbacks for the little kids to remember.

I think the curiosity on the origin of Tony;s powers depends on the age of the reader(s). Hoping that the series will be showing Tony growing in age, then maybe older kids might find themselves wondering where Tony might be getting his powers from.

True. However, I think it would be beneficial and interesting if the next book shows how the parents or community helped Toni get these "powers". For instance, a picture of a parent doing something caring.

The origin of Toni's powers was never a question I had. However, I think this is a good concept for a follow-up book.

Infact I don't like knowing the source of my superhero's powers. It makes them ordinary. For children, I think it might be the same.

:tiphat: Its kind of like the old Goofus and Gallant in Highlights. Gallant isn't a term modern kids can relate to, but being a super hero kid is. They demonstrate the same traits. I am glad a book shows a kid common decency

Toni's superpowers are real. At first I thought they were not but he's flying at some point. I don't think veggies would be a good origin for his powers, but we'll just have to see what the author has in mind.

Yeah I think they'll focus on his superpowers in the next books.

Very good idea! I would like that also. Thank you.
