Hi. The cover is great. Illustrations are definitely important for the kids as they read. The illustrations help the kids feel like reading isn't a chore. That's so important when a child is learning to read. As Miriam mentioned, even a baby or toddler could figure each action out. This way kids can get interested in books even before they are old enough to have the skills to read.
