I feel the author is trying to change a child's perception of a superhero. He doesn't need to be bitten by a spider. He can be a normal kid going out of his way to help others.

LOL! That scenario would be an epic fail! I'm not sure how I would respond to my child's questioning about Toni's superpowers. Maybe I would explain that he likes to pretend to be a superhero and encourage them to use their imaginations, too?

Thank you :D
Everyone needs a superhero in their life - someone they know will help when they need it. And I believe anyone can be a superhero if they choose to! (even small actions can change someone else's perspective on life - or even make a massive impact in their life)

Good note. I do think Toni is a super hero. To me the point is that every child can be a superhero, if they draw lessons from Toni's attitude.

Every child is a superhero to their parents. And every child acts to be a superhero cause he/she wants to fight all problems like a true superhero.

No it was just the imagination of Toni about being a superhero but actually it's not the reality because Toni doesn't had the super powers essential for making him a superhero.

I think he is a superhero because of his nice attitude towards everything he face in life. This is what makes him different from the other children.

I think the book was just trying to teach kids that superheroes have other chores just like normal people and to make children feel like superheroes. He was never really a superhero.

Toni is no super hero. He has no real power and is still a kid. The book title was overrated.

Yes, any parent having a child would love to see them turn out exactly like Toni. However, Toni is no superhero. He has no superhero powers.

From a parental point of view, I see him as a superhero. He has a positive influence on the lives of children.

I don't think Toni has any actual powers, but he believes he's a superhero and continually works on improving himself through doing chores and living in harmony with others.

That depends on the side of the coin through which you see it. I do not think he was a superhero.

I think he is not a superhero otherwise the author had written about his works as a superhero. Superhero implies special abilities or powers and it actually implies of greater work as a hero. It would have been better if the title is Toni the hero. I guess the author wants it to be eye catchy to children. :techie-reference:

He is no superhero. Every kid reading the book wouldn't recognise him as one since he possess ordinary qualities of human beings.
