Ohhh! I like this opinion! I totally agree with giving him a sidekick who enjoys indoor activities--introverts unite! This also gives younger readers two kinds of characters to identify with and relate to--which is so good for young readers. The author has Toni playing outside so much it looks like they are pushing an agenda. Having a sidekick who likes indoor activities better will give children an alternative hero to identify with.

I absolutely agree. Superhero friends would not have been a bad idea and would have made the narration a bit richer even for the children.

Had Toni had the pleasure of say, a mini superman, things would definitely have been more interesting. The plot and themes would have been longer and more enjoyable
