It may be possible to make a show out of this story but do you think kids would watch it? Do you think it would not work as a show and why.

I do not think it could but anything is possible what do you think?

Yes, I think this would make a good kid's show because I think Toni would make a positive and strong role model.

Yes I think it's a great idea, Toni would make a positive effect and also can be a role model for the young children. Every parents wish to have a kid like Toni so why not?
I think the children will love it.

After all it is a children book. Kids got to love it even more when transformed into a visual display. It's interesting, educating and motivational, I think most parents would love to get a copy for their kids.

I think it would be great as a tv show. Kids would love it and Toni is a great role model. I'm sure parents would be ok with their kids watching something like this. I would let my daughter watch it.

Hmm, I'm not sure how a show could be made out of the story as it is.

It would need a lot more development of action and plot.

Children are naturally drawn to audio visual that is designed to appeal to them. With this book, a show would be such a good idea

Agreed. I liked the book for what it was, but to make a television show out of it, there'd need to be considerable character development and world-building.

The book may be fine, but making a tv show or movie out something that is already established often times means that the thing already established will become lost in the transition. If the producers and writers could maintain the original storyline, merely embellished with some other things that children like, it would make a great tv show.
But only then. It would not work if the story is lost.

I think it could be a show on PBS. It already has the same type of illustrations as many of the kids shows on there. It is also educational.

I think that there's a real danger of the story - such as it is - being lost anyway. For a TV show on this to work, it would necessitate a huge expansion on the existing source material. And that would likely compromise what this book was trying to accomplish.

That sounds dismissive of the book, and it's not meant that way as I really liked the book. I think it's an excellent primer for first readers to expand vocabulary, and Toni is an excellent role model. But for the purposes of a television series, the source material as it stands is too sparse.

It will be better if it is made into a cartoon show, that way might attract lots of kids especially the younger ones.
