China is already playing a major role in the worlds economy. If this continues this way, then America night challenged in the future.

Almost every one can predict the future. But i believe it's almost impossible for American to lose its power because we all know how the world is rapidly approaching changes

Not really the immediate future, but someday United states might be overpowered by other nations that are doing well, especially economically.

I think the book predicts the future, looking at the current state of the world, there are powerful countries like China and Russia whose influence is on the rise and they are determined to challenge the status quo in the world.

I think US can lose its power because nowadays the world changes ubruptly,so ther should be no doubt over it.

I think that there are so many other powerful countries in the world that it is very possible that we see in the future a change in control. I also don't know if I agree that one country should have more power than the others.

I think it is possible. A currently good political and economic situation for example can never be predicted in a 100% accuracy. No matter how much planning is done to prevent catastrophies, loopholes may exist that anyone with ill intent could take advantage of. The current government system could crash. Harvest could be sabotaged by climate or man.
This is the same with the dystopia in the book. You can never know if our current path would suddenly swerve direction towards the universe of "World, Incorporated".

No, there are too many variables involved for any book to accurately predict the future.

If there were any predictions made, I don't see even one to be accurate.

I think this book could potentially predict the future. However, I feel that it would be a very long time from now.

Though I've not read the book yet, we can obviously see that China are now taking over gradually from U.S. so I can say the book is speaking the possibility.

Though, I've not read this book. But to this question; United state is gradually losing power to china.

I find it incredibly possible for the United States to lose power at some point in the future. It is still a relatively young country and unrest is rising. I have not read enough of the book yet to say whether or not this specific would is a possibility but at this point, anything is possible.
I 100% agree with you. The US has been on top for a very long time. At some point, we will fall. The current atmosphere doesn't help at all and definitely makes anything possible.

I totally agree. There are way too many factors for any book to be able to predict the future.
