Wall-E features a small robot who cleans up messes, and World, Incorporated features a hitman. The humans are still on Earth in World, Inc, and in space for Wall-E. They may both feature under-stimulated humans, but the humans of World, Inc must worry about competing companies.

I couldn't agree more. Any story can begin the way others have, but I love when authors can change something and weave a story that hasn't been done.ayoomisope wrote: ↑15 Aug 2018, 04:34It's good when authors take the time to properly work a story and create a unique experience.AnnaKathleen wrote: ↑07 Aug 2018, 09:49 Now that you mention it, I see it a little too. I think similarities are bound to happen when the genre is shared - especially when big corporations are a controversial and loaded topic sometimes. However, the author did a good job with the differences, keeping the story from being stale.
