Agent Silver is a henchman for Fellrock, the CEO of World, Incorporated. He has done many notorious work as a part of his job. But a certain incident has him questioning his line of work, and brings back past memories. His aims to kill Ancran, the CEO of Multinational. Although, plagued by guilt and suffering, do you think Agent Silver is an anti-hero? If so, why? Do you think his actions are justified?

I believe his actions are justified and he is simply doing what he thinks is right.

Agent silver cant be a anti hero as as per his previous situation his actions were right and he is obliged to do so as per requirement of his job for which he is paid. if he did not like to do such work he should have immediately resigned.

I do not think he's an antihero. I believe he was doing his job to the best of his abilities.

I think this is a question of morality, of which I am not the judge. He is using the means to justify the end. I think this is the situation with a lot of anti-heros.

That's a great question!! I think Silver is a hero, albeit a flawed one.

This is a great perception and I agree with it! Sliver is a modern anti-hero. I'd like to say I picture him like Cable (from Deadpool 2, if anyone is unfamiliar), just not so hardcore He does the job needed of him, whether it's for his employers or himself.

He was doing the best he could under the circumstances. In my opinion, he was an anti-hero because of the dual morality of his actions. His actions were means to an end.

I think he is an anti-hero. Not the typical "Capitan America goody too shoes" hero but an atypical hero regardless.

Hmm, maybe chaotic good on the alignment chart? I'm not really good at assigning those, though...

By definition, "anti-hero" is a hero that lacks traditional and conventional heroic attributes. Cable (from the Deadpool 2 movie; I haven't read much about him in comics) is an anti-hero to an extent, as is Deadpool himself. Come to think of it, comics are rife with examples of anti-heros--Punisher, Wolverine, to name two more. We generally expect heros like Captain America. I think the question comes down to would we view Cap as a hero if he were a former agent of Hydra? It is the same situation regardless of comic or novel. Anti-heros just do not fit the hero stereotype. As long as Silver is trying to do what he thinks is right, including atoning for past sins/wrongs, then yes. He definitely is an anti-hero.

When you feel like you're doing the right thing especially for the sake of others more than your self-interest, I think it is considered right and just.

I just added this book to my "want to read" shelf, and am very interested to learn more about this character. I enjoy reading about complex heroes, rather than the usual cookie-cutter "always does what is right" variety.
