Endings
Then the real ending showed up and I was a little disappointed because it didn't give a real sense of finality. I think this ending opened the book up for a sequel where he joins the Union, so if Gariffo was planning another book this makes more sense, but it didn't seem to fit quite as well.
What did you think of the real ending? Did you prefer the fake one more too?

I liked both endings, although having them both back to back did throw me off a little. I read the author interview post earlier today, and Gariffo did mention that he might consider a sequel, but only if he thinks he can do it right. That may be why he decided to put in the second ending.StarkidStarling wrote: ↑02 Aug 2018, 15:22 I really liked the suicide ending of the book. It seemed to really complete the story. When he said that he gets to experience what he made others experience, a death by his own hands, it just seemed to be the perfect ending.
Then the real ending showed up and I was a little disappointed because it didn't give a real sense of finality. I think this ending opened the book up for a sequel where he joins the Union, so if Gariffo was planning another book this makes more sense, but it didn't seem to fit quite as well.
