As the setting for this story is a dystopian future, I appreciate that the author included an AI character. This provides insight into the mind of a robot and lets the reader know that although they are machines, their human-like qualities make them relatable.

Yes, afcourse Rex is s true hero.I loved Rex character a lot. He was very funny and his dialogues was very humorous.

Rex was a very enjoyable character. He turned out to be quite independent, too. Choosing not to follow his programming showed a lot of strength in his character.

I completely agree with you. Rex became a true hero at the end of the book. I am so glad that he discovered his free will and didn't attempt to murder Sliver (again).

He was great! Like you said, comic relief. I think the ability to choose for himself came as a complete surprise to him. He didn’t know what to do with it.

Yeah am of the view that Rex evolved into a true hero when he decided to go against his programming, to help Silva. That singular decision was so defining.
