Considering the adventurous scenes ranging from the earth godesses to shapeshifting and romance, I think the book can make a fantastic movie.

No I have no issues with language because language can be applied according to the story line. This is the best novel for shaping it into a form of movie. If this is converted into a movie form then it will be really enjoyable.

I think that this book could be adapted into a movie, but some of the scenes may be too gruesome for most people. The beheading of children and others is a bit extreme. As I read the book, I could visualize the people and scenes very well. The author wrote in a very detailed and descriptive way with so much action that it would make a good movie.

The language won't be much of a problem if it is translated.Aside that, this book would make a great movie.

I agree - language need not be a barrier. However, I find that films generally are not as good as the books they are based upon, so I probably would not watch an adaptation.

YES!!i think it would make a great and fascinating movie.Besides, the differences in the language area could serve as a caption whereas improving it's authenticity.

As long as it's going to be handled by competent people, then it's a good idea.

This would make a great movie. The beginning might be a little gory with the animal sacrifice, but I can see it as a movie. The book itself definitely caught my attention and the movie would too.

I would have to read the book first to ascertain if it will make for a great movie.

I don't think it would present much of a problem. There are a lot of movies that overcome the language barrier and this one doesn't have to be any different.

There's always a risk in adapting a book to a movie. There's never enough time to include all the important details. It can be disappointing sometimes. But I enjoy seeing a book come to life and see how my imagination was similar or not. I think this book would make a successful movie.

Subtitles could be added in the movie version. If Marcellus did not understand what other characters are saying, then he could just appear to be confused. In that way, viewers would realize that he did not understand the language. Despite the languages, I think this book can be adapted into a movie.

I don't see any reason why it cannot be adapted into a movie. Language issues are not so difficult to resolve nowadays.

I think that any book can be adapted into a movie. It all depends on who makes it and how true they can stay to the book. I think that the language aspect isn't really much of a hurtle. They can have little tastes of it here and there to show that it exists and then just speak in an accent. Personally, I hate watching movies with subtitles so having them speak in a foreign language too much would kill it or me.
