Where did you read that Vikings predominantly spoke English? Old Norse was their primary language.Mouricia25 wrote: ↑07 Sep 2018, 23:30 I don't think the language would be an issue. I was referring to the TV series Vikings. It made it clear to the audience that the different lands were speaking different languages, but the show was done in English for the audience, instead of them having to use subtitles. So I was saying the different languages for this book wouldn't be an issue. That didn't occur to me, but you're right. It seems like in every single film/tv series they're always dressed in dark brown or gray rags. Just a constant air of dreariness and depression. Is it too much to ask for some beauty every once in a while?
