I loved reading this one, and it ended with such a cliffhanger that I can't wait to get my hands on the next one. I'm looking forward to reading more about the story and to see what happens next for the characters. I'm particularly interested in seeing more of the other characters that didn't have much presence in the first book.

Actually, the second book is out already. And yes, I'm interested enough to read it.

Yes, I would love to read the next book! I can't wait till it comes out. I think the book was written well, so I would enjoy reading the next book in the series. I would possibly add these books to my bookshelf collection at home. I also know of some friends who may like too read them as well. :)

I always love a series. Unless I really hate the first book, I usually finish the entire series just because I want to know how the story ends.

The first book seems interesting enough, especially the love between Marcellus and Catrin. This will prompt me to check out the second book if it is published.

I agree! I hated the abrupt ending of the first book and disliked the character's as well. I'm not interested in reading the next one either.

Given how disappointed I was in the novel, how hard I found it to connect with the characters, and how difficult it was for me to finish it, I will not be reading the rest of the series.

I'm so glad you feel the same way. I was beginning to think that I was the only person who read the book and severely disliked it. I feel so much less alone now!

I know! I was surprised by how many people enjoyed it when I thought it was so difficult to get through.

Yes! I really loved this book. I rated it 4 out of 4 stars. I've already pre-ordered the second book through Amazon. I went to the author's website, and she is planning on writing a third, fourth, and fifth book too!

In the end, I was left with the desire to know what will happen to the relationship between Catrin and Marcellus and Agrona's plans for the kingdom. I guess I'll read the second installment to see where this story is going.

I actually went ahead and read the sample at the end of the first one. I felt a little attached to the characters and wondered what was up ahead. In numerous places, including my review, I have written about my dislike for the sex scenes, and I do not seem alone with that opinion. There was so much family drama going on that I felt like I needed to read more for closure, so this author definitely hooked me with her soap opera-like story, and I would love to read the next one with my eyes shut during the intimate scenes.

I enjoy the first book, so I would probably read the sequel of it.

I don't think I'll read the second book. I'm not really a fan of this genre. I chose to read the first one in order to review it and because I thought it would be more historical than fantastical.

I enjoyed the first book, so I think I will give the second one a try. I especially want to follow Catrin's story.
