I finished the book several days ago and absolutely loved it. In my review, I gave it 3 out of 4 stars. The only reasons I took away a star were that at some points the language in the book seemed awkward and forced, especially in the more intimate scenes. The other reason was that 'somehow' modern words sneaked into 24 A.D.! I don't think they knew what "shenanigans" or "hooligans" were back then, for instance. Otherwise I found nothing not to like! Character development went above and beyond and I loved that the book featured strong women characters. In all, a great read! Definitely recommended.
Books are my self-medication. 8)

I like everything about this book, including: The setting and the plot. The unfolding of events is awesome, I couldn't wait to know what next was going to happen. Above all the romance is just too confusing when it comes in between the good and bad happenings. I still love the confusion it brings.

I finished the book and I just posted my review of it. I gave it 4 stars. I really liked the different elements and genres that were strung together to make this great story. Probably the only thing I didn't like is that it seemed like Vala was kind of cast aside. The author never goes back to how she is or if she's still alive. Maybe it was intentional to leave it as a loose end for the next book, so I get that. The love scenes didn't bother me since I am also a fan of romance and I didn't feel like they detracted from the story. There's a bit in the story for everyone. I would read the next one.

Apollo's Raven" by Linnea Tann is a historic book with a twist of fantasy. I love reading this book. The love and romance scenes of the book was too good and potrayed well.

I would love to give this one a try. Especially as it seems to be a historical fantasy. I am a bit skeptical though, because there are many books on fantasy, some fail to deliver.

In my opinion the book "Apollo's Raven" is historic fantasy story that keeps you hooked on till the very end My most favourite part of the book was the romance between Catrin and Marcellus.I rate the book 3 out of 4 because the characters of the book were potrayed very well.

This book was torture to read. Despite my editors comments that 'torture' may be unnecessarily unkind, I stand by this. I had to request an extension and forced myself to finish it. I fell asleep five times in the reading of it. The characters were poorly defined, the dialogue stiff, the background description lacking, and the research questionable. I did not enjoy it and would not recommend it.

I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, the book has great character development. what i like least is the hard to pronounce character names, otherwise, its a book worth reading.

I haven't read this one yet. However, everyone seems to enjoy the world building and attention to detail. I can't wait to check it out! It sounds like a strong read :)

I love how the book combines so many elements: fantasy, history and mythology. I don't like how the erotic scene between Catrin and Marcellus was written.
