I don't see the language as a barrier. Other than the language, the plot has got all the capabilities to be adapted into a great movie. :D

I think it would be difficult to adapt this book as a movie because of how detailed the book is.

I disagree. A single movie would not work (especially since so much was left unresolved at the end with the cliffhangers), but multiple movies or a television series would do well. The A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin was extremely detailed and look how well "Game of Thrones" did on HBO! A lot of details can be represented visually so the level of detail would be simplified on screen.

I think it would make a great movie, maybe with captions or subtitles for the different languages. Other shows and movies have successfully done this, so I don't see it being a problem.

The issue with language won't be a big problem for a talented movie director. It could be easily solved by adding subtitles.

I can easily imagine it being turned into a movie, and it would be a really good one, with a nice mixture of romance and action.
But since we're usually talking about English-speaking producers and actors, I don't know how they would represent Celtic and Latin (after all, this language difference plays an important role). And the american movie industry is not receptive towards subtitles.

I actually think this would be better as a movie than a book. Or maybe even a short TV series.

I think it's a great opportunity to shift the book into a movie. I can already visualize the graphics and scenes and it could be amazing.

I don't think the language barrier would be an issue; many movies have had to deal with the same issue and were able to overcome it with subtitles or by using other cinematic tools. I think this series could very well be adapted into a movie, as long as the author and filmmaker work together to capture the details that the fans of the story expect to see on the screen.
