I am going to go with Sophie. Her character was creative, compassionate, and brave. She had a perfect balance of being in touch with her emotions, but she didn't usually get lost in them. She didn't lose sight of the implications of her actions and the actions of others.
Unconditional love is impossible until you can look at yourself without judgment.

I think Sophie was my favorite character. She seemed like a genuinely good person. She really held her family together when times got tough.
