The title is one of the most important parts of a book. It's the first thing that catches a reader.
What did you feel when you read just the title, "If Life Stinks, Get Your Head Outta Your But's" What was the impact that it left?

For me I felt the title made sense and carries a heavy meaning. It also self explanatory and at the same time symbolic.

I like the title. I think it is saying if you want to be happy you must get out of your own way. Stop saying no or but to your own happiness and success. It also sets the tone for the book as the author said this book isn't overly intellectual.

To be honest let me just say that I found it to be offensive. The words sound very strong. On a closer look and consideration however, I decided to give it a trial. I read it. I cannot regret the decision of reading it.

The truth is that I developed interest in this book just from the title, the title is well coached and very catchy too. It's just like an adage.

The book title ""If Life Stinks, Get Your Head Outta Your But's" is very attractive and i would like to mention that it is the book title that grabbed by attention and reinstated a thought to read this book.

The title told me that the author felt he had a valid idea to promote but did not take himself too seriously and wanted readers to know that his book was written for everyday people and was not going to be a dry and boring read.

I will be honest, the weird grammatical "But's" in the title was originally off-putting to me. I am still not sure if it's meant to be intentional or some reference to the book (as I have yet to read it, I don't know?). But to someone browsing titles, I am not really sure it would appeal.

I felt, about 50% of the lesson, author has
given in the book's title. It's true, if we don't listen to our buts, it may lead us towards success.

The title tells me that this is an author who doesn’t beat about the bush. He’s blunt and goes straight to the point. It was the first thing that attracted me to this book.

I’m a very visual person when it comes to words, so I won’t go into detail what I first pictured in my mind when I saw the title. However, after my initial exposure to it, I found myself liking it because it does catch the eye of the unsuspecting, and it is explained that this book is meant for us to stop making excuses for ourselves. I think it’s a good title not only to garner reader’s attention but it fits perfectly with the book’s theme.

The use of but's did throw me off a bit, but generally it is an attention grabbing title. I find that it is also memorable.
