The Cover of the book is what drew my attention in right away. I love suspenseful or thriller types, and the cover gives me that vibe so I was drawn to it.

I'm not a fan of scary movies, so the cover kept me from even looking at what the the book was about. That's definitely a bad thing, since I just read a review of the book, and I now want to read it. If I hadn't decided to read the review, this book would have completely passed me by just because I didn't like the cover.

because of how "overused" that particular mask is used in the media, the cover looked too kitschy, if you will, for me. I would have appreciated a more simplistic or less melodramatic cover.

I judge a book by it's cover and of course this one interested me!

The cover looks very familiar, looks similar to a movie poster few years back. Thus, it sort of gives me the idea of what to expect from the novel.

The iconic mask of Ghost Face is an instant tone setter for the novel, for those that are less familiar with the Scream series, to those who have been apart of the story from the beginning. It is a clever play, and had potential to backfire without the strong writing in the novel.

Not really! It made me think of a dime-a-dozen campy horror movies. The book itself was better than the cover, I thought.

It made me want to read it less, since I'm not a big fan of the horror genre. And the cover was a little terrifying. But since it did get some good reviews...may be time to expand my horizons and take the challenge of reading a book outside of my normal choices.

Yes, when I saw the cover I was already convinced to read the book.

Unfortunately, the cover made me much less inclined to want to read the book. The image does instantly catch your attention, but it also subliminally gave me the bias of feeling like the book was derivative or less original since the mask is so iconically associated with the Scream franchise.

As someone who does not have a morbid fear of ghosts and horror stories, I must say seeing the cover of the book makes me want to read it more. I do feel like the graphic designer did a great job.

My initial reaction to the cover was negative. I had no interest in reading a horror book. But the more reviews I have read the more I think I would actually enjoy this book.

Horror is a no-no for me. The cover totally killed my interest in the book. The numerous reviews helped out a bit.

I was less interested in reading this book after seeing the cover. As with most books, I like to create an image in my head on my own while reading.
