I was a big fan of the Scream movie franchise and was surprised to see that RJ Torbert coined the term 'Ghost Face'. So it was interesting to me that he didn't revolve the entire book around the iconic face of horror.
I must say, the face on the cover made me want to read the book right away.
How did it influence your decision to read/not read the book?

I'm a big fan of the Screen movie franchise myself. The face on the cover got me into reading this book right away. It's attention seizing!

The cover definitely turned me off. I read the sample previously and was not impressed. I think that was because the cover gave me the creeps, and I really focused on the fear and horror of being stalked and kidnapped, and I did not want to read a book with lots of violence and gore.

This morning I re-read the sample (still not finished) and I find that I am enjoying the book more and relating more to the Paul character. I may have misjudged this book based on the cover!

Honestly, the cover looks like either it’s related to the Scream franchise in some way or that it’s some fan fiction about it. Since it’s not either of those things, I wasn’t really that interested in reading it.

The cover makes me want to read the book less. It doesn't look to me like it was professionally designed. I also don't have much interest in horror so I didn't want to read the book at all.

The 'Ghost face' on the cover makes the book fascinating..eye catching and puzzled with what horror it will be. It makes me want to read more..

I picked it mostly because I saw that it was going to be the book of the month, but the covee did catch my attention. Sadly I can't get interested in it and keep seeing it down. I don't know if I will finish it it not

The cover definitely reminded me of Scream and made me want to read the book. I really like the Scream movies, so the cover made a positive impression. I also like murder mystey books in general, so it’s my type of book.

The cover is what got my attention. I know they say don't judge a book by its cover, but I think you can't help it when you notice a cover like that. For me, as a horror lover, this book would catch my eye in a bookstore so I totally support the choice of this cover.

I find the 'ghost face' to be a bit tacky, personally. It does not compel me to read the book.

I think it's a bad idea to use an image so readily associated with a franchise other than you own. Makes me wonder what the author was thinking.

The cover kind of turned me off, because I sort of assumed someone was trying to rip off Scream in some fashion. To me it sort of gives a bit of a false impression of the book.

The cover made me off because I like the covers with flowery beautiful faces, not a ghost mask printed on them.

The cover got me excited to read a good horror.
