Wasn't so sure about the killer but progress in the reading made me think off about killer and just wait for the twist I expected😀

I try to keep my mind open and not zone into one possible suspect. When I do zone in, I always miss certain facts about the story. That being said, I the name that popped into my mind the most was William Lance. Money and access to travel.

I kept changing. First I thought it was the kidnappers' boss, then I thought it was Paul, finally, I was very lost.

I thought exactly the same

What I expected at the end of this book was a surprise.

I stopped trying to guess ir predict happenings in mystery books like this, because at the end of the day, I end up predicting wrongly which is kind of frustrating.

I did not trust any character and doubted even the protagonists' actions. Most of all, I suspected Paul as the game master because his meticulous nature and the fact that the mask belonged to him cast doubt on his credibility. I thought he was the criminal until proven otherwise, and the plot twist shocked me.

When i was reading the book i did'nt really put much thought on that since i know it was supposed to be a mystery, and i really enjoy the revealing of the killer after all the twist and suspence.

When reading such books, I usually just try to enjoy the story line without having to predict characters' identities, but I must be honest, i couldn't do it this time. At first i could bet the killer was Robert Simpson, later on I began suspecting William. The killer's real identity was a shocker to me. All I can say is 'great suspense.'
