My goal is to try and read 3 a month, so I am hoping at least 36 books this year.

I am going to be realistic and honest with myself and go for 40 books this year. However, I am going to read new authors and new genres as part of that goal.

I set mine for 50 this year, but I'm aiming to surpass that! We'll see how this year goes...

I would have to agree with Anchovy cat. I love audio books also. I think my goal should be 24 this year for regular reading. Maybe a bit low but my schedule is really funny this year. New books that is, not counting my rereads for teaching!

My personal goal is 75, however I'm thinking I can get around 2 books a week. If that's the case, then we're looking at closer to 100 as I sincerely doubt I'll be able to consistently read 2.

I am setting my goal at around three books a month, give or take one or two, leaving me at about 36 books this year. I would love to be able to read more, but this is a big year for me. I am getting out of the military, moving across the country, and starting a new life with a new job, while also attending classes for a B.A. in English. I have quite a bit on my plate, but that doesn't stop me from reading every spare moment I get. A few of the books on my list this year are: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, and Origin by Dan Brown when it comes out later this year. I have started off the year with The Professor by Charlotte Bronte, and when I finish that, probably later today, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo is next on my list. 2017 Challenge? Bring it on!

My goal is to try and hit 150 for 2017. My 2016 goal I set once I joined at the end of July. I meet my goal and only included books that I read from the time of joining until the end of the year. I feel confident that I can hit 150!

If I can read a book a month, I'll be happy. My 5 month old keeps me too busy to be able to read as much as I would like. How do you all do it??

I try to read a book every two to three days but life tends to get in the way. I think my goal will be around 150.

I am upping my reading challenge to 150 or more, I feel it's more insightful to read while being pregnant and just brings peace to baby, big sis and mommy all at once.

My goal is to at least read one book a month. So far, I can check off January. I just read Carrie Fisher's The Princess Diarist. :techie-studyingbrown:

For the past two years I have been setting my goal at 100 books and so far i haven't succeeded, as I have a lot of schoolwork. So this year I'm setting myself a more realistic challenge - 77 books, I know that's a pretty random number, but 7 is my favorite number and i'm hoping it will bring me luck.
