My goal is usually 100 books but I started working full time again so I changed it this year to 50. I have read 61 so far. So I will try for 65 in 2016. I keep track on goodreads. Any one else use goodreads?

I don't even know how many I read last year. Better start counting...

I set a goal of 50 each year, but usually fall a little short. Working on my MFA keeps me busy. Will set a goal of 50 in 2016.

I am aiming for 100 books in 2016. I think that's a doable goal if I read on my lunch work and before bed.

This seems like a really neat and helpful tool that we can use! I appreciate the opportunity to utilize this feature and will begin considering the amount of books I will read in 2016!

I'm pushing 110 -125. In the past 100 has been reached easily, but now I have obstacles standing in the way of reading. Wish me luck!

I have only set a reading goal once in my life. I used it as a tool to get me back into reading again. It worked. I regained my stamina and love of reading. At that time I set a goal of one a month. I think this is wonderful
wonderful idea. I will set a goal of 25 books. I can always increase of number it is too low.

Hey, everyone, I want to make sure the reading goal tracking features with Bookshelves here at OnlineBookClub.org are better than at Goodreads. I have the advantage that the moderators and I can listen to each of you one on one and take your feedback and suggestions to learn exactly what you would like to get out of it. I'm not sure if people would like to get harassing email reminders to add books to their to-read shelf if they haven't been adding them in a timely manner... ?

I'm trying to brainstorm more ideas. Please throw out as many suggestions or requests as you can! :D
