I usually try to read at least one book a week. Last year I exceeded that goal; however I will be starting a PhD program in the Fall, so I don't know how much I will get to read for leisure once August gets here.

I'm currently full-time employed and earning my master's par-time, so I had put reading on the back burner. This changed last month. Reading has reduced my stress, has made me a happier person, and has helped build up my imagination. To get myself back into the reading hobby, I set a goal to read 15 books this year. As I mentioned, I began last month, and I am now in the middle of my third book. Therefore, I am hoping to surpass my goal. I am hoping this forum and other readers will motivate me to keep reading.

I've reached 50% of my goal!
I really didn't think I'd be able to keep up with it when I set it, but I'm ahead of it. I don't think I've read this much before :icon-eek:

What is grief, if not love persevering?

I haven't started a challenge yet for this year and with summer right around the corner we'll see how much reading time I can get! I think I'll aim for 2 books a month for the reminder of 2016.

My goal right now is 3 books per month, 2 for review, 1 personal. I am currently on track. I actually did 4 reviews last month and 2 personal! I am on FIRE. But summer is coming and the kids will be home from school so more attention will go there. Had to get ahead somehow!! :p
