Hey guys, I am new to onlinebookclub, sort-of ;)
I joined back in 2014 but could never figure out the site or spent the time to focus on it!
2017 is a New Year though and I am devoted to participating.
Last Year my book goal was 40 and I only made 29, so this year I am shooting for 40 again! :D

Hmmm I have never actually set a reading goal for myself, at least not since elementary school. I think it is something I do want to try though! I will set mine at 24, 2 books per month BUT I would greatly like to demolish that goal!

I plan to read 75 books this year. I love this...I've never set a number goal before. If I find good books, I am a voracious reader. If the books aren't good...it's hard to get motivated because I can't abandon a book once I start it. It's a weird kind of personal torture...lol.

My reading challenge for 2016 was 45 books and unfortunately I did not meet that goal. I would like to meet that goal and go over it this year, but I need to find more books to read!

My reading goal this year is 25 books. I don't want to set my goal too high for myself. :)

Reading has always been a favorite pastime of mine. Unfortunately my family of six and working now takes precedent. So my goal, as compared to others posting seems reachable for most but will still be a challenge for me. I am setting it at 24!!

I want to read 24 books this year. Unless we count kids books in that case it will be more like a couple hundred :D

Having a goal would be great, I think. I do have school (do textbooks count? Heh.)

I think two books a month might, maybe be doable, but 24 is not a nice number.

I think I will set mine to 25. Hopefully I can exceed this number in spades!

Not sure how many books I'll read this year. I hope it will be a lot but it really depends what life throws at me.

I don't tend to listen to books, mainly because the reason I read books is to focus my mind on one task and enjoy the book. If I listened to the book I have no doubt I'd try and do something whilst listening and miss half the book lol

I read almost 250 books in 2016. Although many of those were childrens books since I have 4. This year I want to read at least 300. But I have a goal of reading at least 104 that are not childrens.
