Perhaps 1 to 3 books per month sounds fine. But maybe I'll aim more tham that. :)

My 2021 reading goal is to complete the books that I already have, because I am kind of a book hoarder and I have like 50 books sitting around unread.

That's a lot. Although, if there are many books of 200-250 pages out of this number, then it is quite possible. In my home library there are mostly classics of 400-500, or even more pages.

I will not set a specific goal for this year. But, i would like to read most, if not all of the books that i have under my TBR shelf. Likewise, i would like to try other genres, to expand my reading experience.

Trying to read at least 7 books, one more than last year. Though I usually read massive books which have like 800 pages so it takes me long time to read them. But now that I have graduated I finally have more time to read!

Goals are less important to me while reading. I listed a flexible reading goal on the site for a reference only perhaps. I find if the weighting is too firmly placed on the volume, comprehension retention and impact suffers. I am not yet one of the privileged few that have waxed speedreading for leisure. Thank you for the amazing initiative taken with introducing the reading goals post to the forum. For those finding discipline is lacking , it will assist in covering more volume and perhaps with time, comprehension in one go!

I have definitely been reading a lot more since I joined this book club. I would like to read 1 book every 2-3 weeks.

My goal is to read at least ten books. When I was small I read more than that. But now I'm a medical student and hardly get time to read. But I'll make some time for my favourite thing in the world :techie-studyingbrown:

Honestly, I've never tried setting a reading goal... I seem to completely forget about it when the months pass by.

Well, better to start at it now then. 20 freelance work books and 21 non-work books for the year! :D

I set the same goal and had the same thought in mind since I work full time and homeschool my children.
