I set my reading goal of 20 books on Goodreads before I changed jobs. I spend a good amount of time waiting for and sitting on the train on my way to and from work now and I'm able to read a lot more. :)

My new reading goal is 50 books.

Because I'm a busy stay at home mom, I give myself a book a week. I have to admit I do tend to finish a book in two or three days. I would roughly say 70 books this year. I've read 21 books since the start of the year.

My goal for 2017 is 50 books. So far, I have read 19 out of the 50 and am soon to be at 22 out of 50. I am hoping that I will surpass my goal, but I want to stay realistic!

I've always wondered what it would be like to listen to books. See, I'm more of the type that has to have the book in hand, or interact with the text physically. So if I'm reading a book on my computer, I'm at least scrolling through the pages.

My aversion to listening to books is that my attention span seems to wander after so long. I think I read faster than I listen, if that's how you'd compare it! At the same time, I do love to hear how some people speak. Have you ever felt that way? You hear someone speak, the way they form words and express sounds, and you just want to put them on record and listen to them over and over . . . I guess that's why some people make it big in radio!

My reading challenge is 200 books. I couldn't read a book a day . . . but I do read pretty fast. We'll see what happens! :D

I hope that I get to read 50 books this year despite all the work I need to get done at school.

I've never really used the text to speech feature on my old kindle keyboard but now with my kindle fire and working a new desk job, I think I will be getting through a lot more this year. I'm pretty excited about that. :)

Audiobooks are awesome! I highly recommend them. 8)

And for the previous poster, yes they do count towards your goal!

Take our ultimate reading challenge and set up a new goal on your profile. At the end of the year, you can see if your goal was met. Good luck! :)
I'm hoping for a book a week this year! So far I've read 17 :D

My goal is to read at least 100 books. I normally only take about 3 days for a book, depending on how good it is. I only am not very sure how to change my goal in profile.

OK. I think I figured it out. Sorry, I think before there was too low a post number and it did not work.

This year, I plan on reading at least 250 books. I have already read more than 85, so I'm well on my way.
