Reading Challenge: April, May, June

Post by Gravy »

A new season, a new batch of challenges!

April's challenge: Eco/Green

Read a book that focuses on some aspect of climate change, or just pick a book with a predominantly green cover. It's up to you!

May's challenge: Flowers

Read a book with a type of flower in the title (or just the word 'flower'), or that has flowers as the focus of the cover.

June's challenge: Color

Read a book with any color in the title, or go with all the colors and read one with 'rainbow' in the title!

Bonus challenges:

#1. Nonsense

Read a book with a nonsense title (or just one that's weird/strange/funny in some way) or cover.

#2. Book

Read a book with the word 'book' in the title or featuring a book on the cover. Will also accept 'story' or 'tale'.

So there you have it. Have at it, and have fun!
Pronouns: She/Her

What is grief, if not love persevering?

Grief is just love with no place to go.

Just stumbled upon this thread. This sounds like a fun way to branch out from the styles I read.

I am up for this challenge! I just started looking through my bookshelf for books with a predominantly green cover. So far I've got 'Almost Heaven' by Judith McNaught and 'The Irish Devil' by Donna Fletcher.

Cool idea! Not sure I'm up for it, at least the April portion since we are already in the final week of the month; although one of the books I'm currently in the midst of is a non-fiction written by a full-blown nature lover and definitely addresses current environmental issues, such as deforestation, so if that counts, then I'm in :techie-studyingbrown: I'm pretty sure I have a book or two with flowers in the title or on the cover 🌷

I think I might have completed the April challenge since a book I reviewed had a green cover. I am not sure if it should be partially green or at least have a green somewhere. Anyway, I hope to complete the May challenge. I like this challenge:D

I really like the challenge. My reading glass was damaged in April month that why I am not able to complete the challenge. But now I Bought new reading glasses from the best wholesale sunglasses like City Sunglass store. If any other challenges are there, then please share the challenge. I will definitely complete it.
