The way she accepts that she is really not a scientist in this field is impressive. And adding her personal experience in the book gives the book a strong sense of sentiment.

I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others. I like Sylvie Beljanski's story and I like her writing style, which is warm and humorous in places. My only gripe with the book is that I think there's a bit too much scientific detail in its pages.

It's a helpful guide for people having the same kind of affliction. I think it is well researched but I'm not sure if the scientific method was used. I think the author brought the issues discussed here to live. It's certainly an excellent read.

I believe Winning the War on Cancer serves an important purpose. After reading this book I feel much more aware and secure from cancer. I love that this book discusses alternative approaches in cancer treatment and I do really appreciate the innovative outlooks to actual problems
I would suggest this book to everyone. Why? Because in a very logical way it discusses the important problem of nowadays society, from which no one is fully insured.

Cancer is a horrible devastating disease that affects millions of people in one way or another. This book looks at a different approach for treating and curing cancer. The research done by the author's father is impressive. I'm usually a skeptic of alternative medicine but the research seems to support the conclusion. It is sad that big pharmaceutical companies and the government is more concerned with money. The cost of medicine alone to treat cancer is astronomical. Treating a disease should not cost you everything. The book was well-written and flowed well. I liked the personal experience and research. The footnotes got a little distracting for me. This book is a 3 out of 4 stars for me.

I loved the review and was touched when I learned it was the author's fathers story. I am looking forward to reading this book. I wish we could eradicate cancer completely.

I think this book is well researched. Alternative methods sometimes work better than traditional medicines, but, unfortunately, most doctors won't consider incorporating the two of them together for a more total approach.

What I liked about this book was the authors approach. While she clearly states that she has no background in the field, her thorough research and personal experience has delivered a book that was very insightful and also enjoyable to read. 3/4 stars for me, as I'm not sure if everyone would enjoy it, but I certainly did.

I like the mix of personal anecdote and scientific evidence. I agree with the author that Big Pharma can often be harmful and gloss over the benefits that other medicines offer. I am definitely interested in reading more of this book and its subject matter.

Too many grammatical and spelling errors. The storyline is confusing sometimes but there is a great balance between research and personal experience.
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

I would give the read a 3 out of 4 rating. It was insightful to read and go through the author's work. I appreciated the honesty, particularly when the author, said she didn't have experience in the field.

This seems like a take on practices of natural cure with good research. And battling cancer is always an inspiring story. I will surely add it to my to-read list.
