The author used her father's work, and since he was a biologist, I think the book is based on research and not just an opinion.

I feel it is based on research because her father was a Molecular Biologist, and he spent years researching this info. Also, she had to start learning from his notes to continue his work, and she also made trips to locate the trees and compare them and the products gotten from them. Therefore, I believe she also carried out some level of research, even though not up to her father's level.

I think the book is based on sufficient research
Her father's research combined with modern medecine to make a probable cure for cancer.

It is mostly based on the research of someone else being her father but I choose to believe that she was in the loop during the majority and that’s what brought about the drive.

Research in science might start with an individual's perspective. Experiments are often carried out to confirm or disprove statements made when a trend starts and individuals assert that it will have a certain conclusion. It may be a start toward using more scientific methods.

The claims made in this book are undoubtedly supported by research. Not only are outrageous charges and hypotheses involved. A scientist who conducted extensive research on this issue was the author's father.

I'm a believer in the idea that a certain amount of knowledge in a specific field will make you an expert in that field. Because the author's father was a molecular biologist, I assume she learned her knowledge from him and is therefore qualified to discuss such matters. It's the same thing as an apprenticeship.

The dad research was is enough. Though the book was not authored from the source so it's an opinion.

I don't think her claims should be thrown off the window simply because she doesn't have a degree in medicine. She stated that her findings and theories emanate from her scientist father's researches.
