I love historical fiction as well. I wasn't pulled in when I read the sample of the book. Perhaps I need to give it a second chance. Thanks for your glowing recommendation.Kibetious wrote: ↑01 Feb 2019, 02:14 As a true and ardent fan of historical fiction, this book is one of the best out there. My rating is 4 out of 4 stars. I heartily recommend it to others. What I loved most was character development. There is nothing I did not like in this book. It is worth being read by everyone.

It was really well made and very entertaining with the comedic aspects.
Though it got dragged on going into the last few chapters.
But other than that its a 4/4 for me.
I would recommend to people who love to learn about war and love war action scenes.
Although, I should also recommend it to people who like comedy side to their books.
It's a great book for adults and young teens alike.

I was looking for the recommendation and i think i have got it. I was wondering what is warramunga? I haven't heard this word before.Ever_Reading wrote: ↑01 Feb 2019, 01:22 I read this book a while ago and absolutely loved it. It's well written and keeps one entertained from the first page until the last. I enjoyed the comedic approach the author took even though the book revolves around war. Krater has a way of pulling at your heart while at the same time consoling you with laughter. My only issue with the book is that it drags a little towards the end. Nonetheless, it's deserving of a 4/4 rating.

Glad I could help, @zimali ! The Warramunga are a group of indigenous Australians. They are also known as the Warumungu.Zimall wrote: ↑07 Feb 2019, 04:13I was looking for the recommendation and i think i have got it. I was wondering what is warramunga? This is my first time of reading a war themed novel. I did feel like I would be bored because of the military codes used but to my surprise, I didn't find it bothersome at all.
