ARA Review by lgregory of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

I found this book interesting. The first part I felt was uncomfortable and guilt producing. The author hits the readers with the severe problems of children dying from hunger daily and other aspects of our greed, additions being uncaring to these problems.

The author claims we are all addicts. We are asked how many shoes, cars, etc we have and how many children could be saved with this spent money on things.

The book then shifts to lengthy discussions on beautiful spiritual lessons. I found his chapters on lessons for living quite repetitive. For readers new to spiritual lessons perhaps the repetition is necessary.

The book ends beautifully by the author talking about there not being evil in the world and how we need the yin and Yang of life.

Living life to the full with what is here now in the present and knowing that all things pass.

He concludes by talking about his love for all.
I did find it interesting and inspiring.

I rate this book 3 out of 5.
