ARA Review by Franxz_ of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

Eckhart Aurelius Hughes’ book "In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All" is a philosophical and practical guide for anyone seeking to find inner peace, fulfillment, and a more positive outlook on life. Hughes challenges readers to focus on the positive force of love in their lives, and to let go of the obstacles we create for ourselves that hold us back from achieving our goals and living a happy life.

The book begins with an exploration of the common struggles faced by people regardless of their background, such as never-ending goals and the belief that the grass is always greener somewhere else. Hughes refers to these obstacles as the human condition and suggests that we can achieve inner peace by letting go of them. Spiritual liberation is the term he uses to describe the process of freeing ourselves from these inner battles we create. The goal of his eleven suggestions is inner peace, which he believes will lead to a happier and more fulfilling life.

The suggestions provided by Hughes require self-discipline and patience in changing the way we think. By examining our behavior and self-talk, we can work to escape the prisons we may have created for ourselves. Hughes explains each suggestion in detail, providing background on why he suggests the change and how it will benefit our lives. He encourages readers to let go of past mistakes and to move forward more positively.

One of the most significant aspects of this book is its focus on the concept of being "in it together." Hughes argues that we are not able to focus on world problems, such as childhood hunger and starvation, because we are too focused on ourselves. He suggests that by finding the real you, which is not defined by your job, family, or appearance, you can see that we have more in common with each other than we realize.

The author’s positive and encouraging attitude throughout the book is refreshing. He acknowledges that we all make mistakes and that holding onto negativity does not benefit anyone. I found the book to be inspiring in its philosophical approach and its practical suggestions. It is well-edited, without any errors, and the eleven suggestions are all relevant to most readers' lives.

In conclusion, "In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All" is a thought-provoking and relatable book that provides practical suggestions for improving our lives and finding inner peace. I recommend this book to anyone interested in identifying areas in their lives where they may be holding themselves back and seeking to improve their outlook on life. It is a well-written and inspiring book that deserves a perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars.
