ARA Review by Romanramsey of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

Oh, we have a long way to go.
That is, if you subscribe to the notion that there is an end result to our collective endeavor. And assuming that the end result is one of Nirvana, heaven, peace and harmony.

In It Together assumes none of that. I gave this book a 5 out of 5. This is probably an important book. It certainly is an optimistic one, and if you lean that way, it should inspire you, and for some, it undoubtedly will.
But these are troubling times, at least on the surface. It would seem that some of the collective progress we have made as a species has regressed, and the Darkness is reasserting itself. All part of the push and pull.

The author is a great thinker. Most of us are not, so it would behoove us to pay attention to those who are. I like to think, as a whole, we are moving gradually towards some wonderful, idyllic existence, but there is another part of me that feels like we will always be in the yin-yang struggle adn find a balnce somewhere in between.

I feel like this book is a guide towards finding a way to navigate through whatever the reality is. Unfortunately, many of whom "need" that guidance right now, will never pick this book up, or if they did, wouldn't get the message.
Better to be one of the ones that does, no?

Have the world be a better place for your having been a part of it...
