ARA Review by EmpressMelina of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

The finest books have the power to transform our perspective, offering a fresh lens through which we view the world. Sadly, a multitude of books merely reiterate tired, well-worn messages we've encountered countless times. However, "In It Together" stands as a true treasure among literature, a beacon of hope in our darkest moments and a soothing balm for the soul.

The book employs a refreshingly delightful writing style, akin to engaging in a friendly conversation with a new acquaintance eager to share their thoughts with you. The prose remains simple without descending into condescension, demystifying intricate subjects and occasionally revealing the humor hidden within the conflicts humanity creates. Most impressively, this book does not discriminate against different views. Through Eckhart gentle and writing, readers can momentarily shed their personas and open their hearts to the book's wonderful and impactful message.

As the title suggests, we are all bound together on this journey. A common, unbreakable thread unites us, sharing the same dreams and fears. It's as if we are all victims of the social and political structures we inhabit. Yet, by embracing the truth, we can not only survive but also lead just lives. First, however, we must confront and accept the truth of our shared human condition, and this is where "In It Together" becomes indispensable.

The author adeptly delves into the core shortcomings of contemporary society, skillfully linking these deficiencies to the flawed connection individuals maintain with their own inner essence. The author contends that individuals often fail to recognize that their spirit represents merely a fraction of a larger collective, to which all human spirits belong. This assertion gains credibility through a series of emotionally stirring examples, drawn from diverse global scenarios and specific human traits. In the end, the author offers eleven insightful recommendations for enhancing one's connection with their inner spirit.

This book has truly left me speechless and I highly recommend it to anyone.
