ARA Review by Kathy Smith 7 of The Smartest Person in the Room

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

Christian Espinosa's book review is The Smartest Person in the Room: The Root Cause and New Solution for Cybersecurity. It is about cybersecurity maintaining a personal level with models and the personal aspects of living and growing in the technological world and environment. In the security field, it's how we get along and grow in the field

One positive thing was it wasn’t very technical and with models and exercises on how to grow and adapt to changes in every cybersecurity field. Communication is very important and ineffective communication in this field is a problem and is discussed with exercises and ways to improve in this book. Keep up with the new trends and rapid growth in the computer field.

One negative aspect is how we all get lost in the technical world. And this book shows how we can get back on track and make sense of cyber emergencies (react with one another) and other cyber problems. How they analyze problems before they get too big to handle and lose track of the problem. Something about how the methodology benefitted many people and didn’t have to do with technical staff. Could be used with any type of staff in an office or business. Working in the technical field, you just had to keep at it and use these techniques in the book to help adjust to the changes of the future.

The Smartest Person in the Room: The Root Case and New Solution for Cybersecurity by Christian Espinosa, gave this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the newness of today's problems with cyber security. People are being hacked and insecurity of our computer accounts.

I think this book would be a good book for your library or Kindle where computer security is used for small companies like retail stores or big companies like corporations. Or anyone who would work and get tired in the technical field these exercises and models would help anyone working in cybersecurity or computer security get a fresh look into the field. Give you a much-needed break reanalyze what you are doing in cybersecurity and get a new outlook on your work.

Anyone wanting to know about cybersecurity could learn from the book Espinosa wrote with his years of experience in the field and a PhD. I enjoyed this book having some technical background and found it useful in my own life.
