ARA Review by Adriana Batrisyia 1 of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is a philosophical self-help book where the author wants us to discover that there is one common struggle that is happening to all of us, explain what this struggle is, and finally determine the best way to combine our efforts and work together in harmony and love to overcome this struggle.

He guides the reader through eliminating all these throughout and reach the core of the beautiful you and there indeed is such a thing as conscious love within all of us. The author points out that the book can be of use to individuals of any faith, even no faith.

I also noticed that some of the writing was redundant in certain sections, specifically when he was describing the sad reality of childhood hunger and death, as well as when he was explaining the ‘automatic’ responses that people have to different scenarios. At some point, I had to refer to the dictionary when reading it because there were many words and philosophies that I did not understand; but the author did a good job of explaining them and reminding me to be kind to myself and that others are struggling as much as I am. From these observations, however, I would still rate this book 4 of 5 stars due to how well the author did in presenting each of his topics and also due to his humorous comments throughout the book.

Overall, the book was professionally and coherently written and did not contain any punctuation or other types errors.

In conclusion, I would have recommended this book for those who fancy books in self-help or philosophy category.
